Stable Steps Limited is a privately owned company offering round-the-clock care in a residential care home, where we provide top-quality services in a warm, homely setting. We are dedicated to identifying and addressing every client’s unique needs in a holistic and individualized manner. Our goal is to continuously enhance our expertise in care provision, ensuring we can meet ongoing demands with the flexibility to adapt to the ever-changing market.

We are equally committed to our staff, supporting their personal and professional growth through targeted training and career development opportunities. Who We Are?

We are offering specialized support for adults with physical disabilities and mental health needs.

Stable Steps Limited is a privately-owned care home and dually registered to provide personal care, accommodation, and treatment for up to 50 people with varying degrees of nursing or personal care needs.

The care home welcomes both male and female, elderly, and young adult over the age of eighteen as permanent or respite guests, and with a choice of the preferred care staff gender.

Stable Steps Care Centre was opened in March 2021, and it is situated in Stockport residential area of Cale Green; near town centre close to local shops and amenities, bus stop is situated right outside of a Care Centre. Building is surrounded by greenery, providing quiet and family orientated feels.

Stable Steps caters for all medical conditions including elderly, terminally ill, dementia patients and physically disabled. Short – stay beds are available for medical and post-operative service users, we also offer respite.

Our Home

For the residents use we have a big dining room, which is used by both floors. We also have nice cosy lounges on both the floors, that are used by all residents. They have a collection of books, activities and have big TVs for the entertainment of the residents. We also have a post office area which is used to relax or to send out birthday cards or letters. Renovation of the décor is underway for the rooms as well as the communal spaces. The residents and their families were involved to decide colours of which some have been completed and some are still under way. The families were requested to bring some personal items as well.

I have joined Stable Steps Care Centre in November 2020; I was a Registered General Nurse with over 19 years of experience in care. Working as a nurse in A&E for over 7 years I have faced many patients with different needs and behaviors. Therefore, I am the Registered Manager for managing both medical and administrative aspects, to ensure that the establishment runs efficiently and smoothly.

We have decided to open Stable Steps Care Centre to provide person-centered care and give our clients “The Choice”. We aim to care for everyone, the young and the elderly. Our experiences and knowledge allow us to explore this industry as much as possible and we are aiming to provide a homely environment and ensure our policy of “Your Home, Your Choice” is followed at all times. Stable Steps Care Centre is our stepping stone and our flagship Care Home.
